Creating an Affordable E-snare pad With a Dual Zone Positional Sensing Drum Trigger.
Learning Goal
I want to learn more about the making of tech through electric drums and how to deal with electrical-related problems with wiring/soldering. From this project, a skill I would like to develop is wiring/soldering and technological development.
PRODUCT GOAL
I will be making an Electronic snare pad with a dual zone positional sensing drum trigger. The drum trigger will be an internal drum trigger which means it will be placed inside the snare body. Drum triggers are a device that is placed upon the drum membrane which picks up vibrations when the drum is hit and converts them into electric signals which are then sent to the drum module to produce a variety of changeable sounds (“What Is a Drum Trigger?”). Positional sensing is a feature/system that is not commonly found in every drum trigger, it is usually a feature/system found in higher end models. Therefore, I will be creating my product with a budget of 1 million rupiah.
