We find some articles from Bloomberg, Forbes, and ESDM.go.id. It tells us about the real problems we will face in the future. It is energy crisis. The next several decades we could see more periods of energy-driven inflation, fuel shortages, and lost economic growth as electricity supplies are left vulnerable to shocks.
EXPLORING, WONDERING, QUESTIONING
Global energy crisis and climate change -which is caused by greenhouse gas emissions- have become familiar issue in every part of the world. These problems make us worry about the supplies of the energy in the future; will it be enough for the future?
To explore about these issue, we collect the information about what really happens in the world recently, especially about the energy supplies for the future.

From the information that we have read, the use of renewable energy in Indonesia is only 5.7 % . Our government has a target to increase it by 17 % in 2025.

After reading the articles, our next step is making some questions in order to know what will focus on and make our project stay on track.
- Why does the house need to have an open space?
- How do we convert heat energy from sunlight into electrical energy?
- How do we generate electricity using solar panel?
- How do we create an eco-friendly house?

MAKING CONNECTIONS BETWEEN PREVIOUS LEARNING AND CURRENT LEARNING
Before going further to our research, we try to recall our understanding about solar energy and solar panel in order to ease us grasp the new information which will lead us to decide our action.

The following graphic organizers explain our understanding about solar panel and solar energy that we have read from the articles and books

Making the time line is the first thing we do in order to keep us more focused on our projects.
In the first two weeks, we use it for brainstorming. We discuss our understanding about our topic and the problems happening around the world. From our discussion, we are able to determine the main issue that we will focus on.
After knowing what we will focus on, we decide to get more information from the experts.
After getting all the information we need, we start designing an efficient energy home by using Autocad, creating a maquette.

COLLECTING DATA AND REPORTING FINDINGS OR RESEARCHING AND SEEKING INFORMATION
To delve deeper into our topic, we plan to interview three guest speakers. The first person we meet is Mr. Richard from Solar Panel Company. The second is Mr. Ipaman Oesman from Green Building Council, and the third is Mr. Markhoir. He is a landscape architect.

We learn a lot about solar panel, especially about the installation, the maintenance, how it can reduce the electricity cost for long term because the source of energy is free. Solar panel also still can work and absorb the lights in the night because it has storage just like any other electricity tools.

What notice that a building can be considered eco-friendly if it has at least 2 or 3 trees, and it must have 30 % open space.

EXPERIMENTING AND PLAYING WITH POSSIBILITIES AND SOLVING PROBLEMS IN A VARIETY OF WAY
After interviewing the experts, we organize our information by creating an eco-friendly design. We agree on dividing our tasks into two groups. Some of us create a landscape design, while the others creata a maquette.

TAKING AND DEPENDING A POSITION
As long life learners, we believe that the more we share our knowledge, the more we become knowledgeable. We share our project in our action. The first action is we inform fourth graders and high school students about our project.

Eventually, we share what we have learned by presenting our knowledge in front of our head of school.

Well done Team, surely will be more advanced in your next research
